GISBIR Accepted as a Member to ASEF

Orkun Ozek, GISBIR Board Treasurer and Aydın Alaftan, President GISBIR Foreign Relations Commission have been participating the 2^nd Assembly Meeting, the 3^rd  Council Meeting and  the 10^th Forum of ASEF (Active Shipbuilding Experts’ Federation) which are taking place in Tokyo, Japan between the dates 6-7 November, 2016. Acceptance of GISBIR Membership to ASEF will be celebrated with a ceremony on 9 November, 2016.

ASEF (Active Shipbuilding Experts’ Federation) is an international organization representing the shipbuilding industry and consists of the strongest nine countries of the Far East including Japan, China and South Korea. ASEF possesses a key role in the Far East countries regarding the regulations which are internationally significant and taken by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
